Amanda has published extensively in the field of Developmental Disorders and has 2 new books on helping adults in further and higher education and employment with specific learning difficulties. Professor Kirby is unusual wearing several hats as a medic, academic, entrepreneur and parent of an adult with dyspraxia, dyslexia and ADHD. She is the CEO of a fast expanding computer educational and work based profiling company, which is launching a suite of webinar training programmes this year for education and employment in Specific Learning Difficulties, ADHD, hidden impairments, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia etc.
Amanda is currently a medical advisor to ADDIS (UK national ADHD support group). She has run a postgraduate certificate course in ADHD for the past 5 years. She has developed resources for parents and professionals including Apps and a goal setting pack. She has delivered extensive training to parents, psychiatrists, Paediatricians, Speech and Language Therapists and written books and articles in the field of ADHD for parents and professionals.
