The Psychology department at St Patrick’s University Hospital is offering a new group-based intervention programme, Living With ADHD, for adults diagnosed with ADHD. This is a new programme and at the moment is only available for those with insurance cover. It is hoped that this first phase will provide HADD Ireland with materials, feedback and information for adult support groups.
The Living With ADHD programme will help participants:
· To learn more about their condition with increased sense of acceptance
· To learn skills to help improve their attention, impulse control emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness
· To increase their sense of control over their condition
This programme begins on Friday 12th June 1.30 – 4.30pm; the programme is for 10 weeks and is covered by most insurance providers.
