CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: Neuroscience study on ADHD
We are looking for volunteers (over 15 years) to take part in our research study who have:
• a diagnosis of ADHD
• a brother/sister/child diagnosed with ADHD
• a diagnosed anxiety disorder
Our aim is to explore the neuro-psychological and familial characteristics of ADHD, in adolescents and adults.
Individuals with ADHD (along with their siblings and/or parents) are welcome to visit our research centre in Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience for 2 testing sessions. They will be asked to complete a number of neuropsychological tasks, short questionnaires and neurocognitive assessments, including brain imaging methods electroencephalogram (EEG) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
By your contribution as a participant you will significantly help further our understanding of the neurocognitive bases of ADHD, which can help illuminate when, where, and how we might intervene to prevent or ameliorate the disorder. You will be reimbursed at least €40 for your time, plus a high-resolution picture of your brain!
If you would like to know more, call/text 085 785 4489, email us at ADHDproject@tcd.ie or contact us via facebook.com/ADHDprojectTCD.
