HADD Ireland in association with St John of God hospital are running a public lecture for parents/carers and adults affected by ADHD, titled "PAYING ATTENTION TO ADHD"

HADD Ireland are delighted to let you know that we have recommenced our Parent/Carer, information sharing support group, they usually take place one evening a month in The Carmichael Centre, Dublin 7 at 7pm. We often bring in Clinicians and other professionals to speak to the group. Our next informal group takes place on Thursday 19th November for members of HADD. If you are not a member please come along to see what we are all about. We request a €5.00 donation for attendees to cover room hire, teas/coffees / biscuits.

The Psychology department at St Patrick’s University Hospital is offering a new group-based intervention programme, Living With ADHD, for adults diagnosed with ADHD. This is a new programme and at the moment is only available for those with insurance cover. It is hoped that this first phase will provide HADD Ireland with materials, feedback and information for adult support groups.

The Living With ADHD programme will help participants:

·         To learn more about their condition with increased sense of acceptance

We are delighted to have Dr. David Carey, Consultant Psychologist, give a talk to HADD members on "ISSUES AROUND SCHOOLING FOR CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS AFFECTED BY ADHD" - this talk is taking place on Thursday 14th May at 7pm in The Carmichael Centre, Dublin 7. The sun is shining and it's time to get fit, why not walk/run the 10k womens mini marathon in aid of HADD Ireland. We are a non profit organisation that strives to make life better for individuals and families affected by ADHD, we raise awareness on ADHD, we provide information to individuals, families, schools and other professionals and we all offer a network of supports for parents and carers. HADD receives no state funding to run any of its activities and relys on donations and small grants to keep going.
